Two-part workshop series from awareness to action: Unravelling injustice, enabling change!<\/p>\n

When:<\/strong> 10 April 2024, 17:00 to 21:00 & 26 June 2024 17:00 to 21:00<\/p>\n

Where: One World House, Schwanthalerstr. 80, 80336 Munich<\/strong><\/p>\n

Who:<\/strong> People aged 16 and over with and without an international family history, workshop language is German (B1 level), limited number of participants<\/p>\n

We cordially invite you to two workshops on the topic of social injustice – from awareness to action.<\/p>\n

We want to create a safe and friendly space where we can explore prejudices together. We can share our experiences and better understand how we can create a society where everyone is welcome. Through various exercises, we will become more sensitive to injustice and think about how we can help in different situations.<\/p>\n

Workshop I<\/strong><\/p>\n

10 April 2024, 17:00 to 21:00 in the One World House<\/p>\n

In the first workshop “Social injustice – own positioning and entanglement”<\/em>, people learn how to recognise who has power and how to describe it. Power means that some people have more opportunities and money than others. Participants also learn about structural racism or when people are disadvantaged because of their gender. They talk about where each individual stands in society and what opportunities and difficulties he or she has. Using various methods from the field of social justice, people exchange ideas and try to break down prejudices.<\/p>\n

Workshop II<\/strong><\/p>\n

26 June 2024 17:00 to 21:00 in the One World House<\/p>\n

In the second workshop “Social Justice – Empowerment and Participation”<\/em> we want to develop ideas to support an open and tolerant society. Participants will share their experiences of when they have felt empowered. We also talk about how to become stronger together and get involved in important issues. In groups, we work on strategies that help us to help others and make society fairer.<\/p>\n
