The number of participants is limited.<\/p>\n<p>Join <em>Migration.macht.digitale.Medien<\/em> in exploring places in Munich that are connected to colonialism and the post-colonial era. Together, we will reflect on how our city and society deal with these traces and how we want to approach them in the future.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What does German and European colonial history have to do with our lives today?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Schedule:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>1. <strong>Workshop on Postcolonialism<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Many of our ideas and consumption patterns are \u2013 consciously or unconsciously \u2013 influenced by interactions with other parts of the world. Through engaging, interactive methods, you will learn how colonial history and mindsets still affect our everyday lives. The focus will be on topics such as oppression and resistance.<\/p>\n<p>2. <strong>City Walk<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We will visit various places in the city that are connected to colonialism and its consequences. You will discover Munich from a completely new perspective. At each stop (historical buildings, monuments, or streets), brief explanations will be given about the history and significance of the place.
